Drinks

1.22

The bottomless drinks — mimosas and lemon drops — are a relatively affordable add-on, at $18, but the restaurant definitely thinks of them as an add-on, so get your refills quickly — they won't last (although given the sugar content, you might not mind).

Food

3.76

Han Palace offers a full dim-sum experience; we found Option A quite filling at $38 a person, but if you're feeling particularly extravagant, you can upgrade to Option B and get Peking Duck for brunch. Be careful not to fill up on the buns, but you won't leave hungry.

Service

3.71

Our waiter asked if we wanted a little extra in our drinks — an indictment of their strength, surely, but appreciated nonetheless — and handled the inevitable chaos of our food requests with aplomb.

Ambiance

3.74

Tucked into an unassuming block in north Georgetown, Han Palace fosters an intimate dining experience — it's a minor miracle we secured an eight-person table — but the window-side nook makes for a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

Nero might be a lovely wine bar, with self-dispensing wine machines that certainly piqued our interest, but we wonder if they forgot they're also a restaurant.

The bellinis and mimosas have a respectably small tinge, and we appreciate the straight champagne option, but it's really the espresso martinis — six different options, freshly made at a cart wheeled over to your table — that salvage the price.

It's a good thing the $30 bottomless deal comes with the freedom to pour your own champagne and multiple flavors, because we're 99 percent sure the "orange juice" was SunnyD.
